"The priest is not for himself; he is for you. After God, the priest is everything. Only in heaven will we understand what the priest really is." Pope Saint Pius X

Holy Orders

To join a Holy Order is to embrace a life of service, prayer, and sacrifice. Whether you are called to be a nun, a brother, or a priest, your daily work and devotion will help bring the world closer to the Lord. In choosing this path, you set aside the pleasures of the world to more fully receive and live within the gifts of God.

We warmly welcome all who feel called to explore this sacred vocation. It is not an easy decision, nor one you must make immediately. If you feel drawn to this life, we encourage you to begin the journey of discernment.

Feel free to contact Father Brauner for more information about the process and to help guide you in prayerful reflection as you consider this calling.

Joining the SSPX

For those considering a priestly vocation with the Fraternity Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX), the American seminary is Saint Thomas Aquinas Seminary, located in Dillwyn, Virginia. We encourage all discerning a priestly vocation to begin by reading the four informative articles found under the "Priesthood" tab in the seminary's website menu.

If you are discerning a vocation as a sister or brother within the SSPX, the articles below provide a brief overview of their mission, along with contact information to help guide you in your discernment.

Regardless of which vocation you are exploring—priest, brother, or sister—we invite you to contact Father Brauner at the email listed above for more information and guidance. Even if your discernment does not lead to religious life, take joy in knowing that you listened to God's call and opened your heart to His will.
