New To Latin Mass?

The Latin Mass, also known as the Mass of the Ages, is a uniquely Latin Roman Catholic celebration.
For first-time attendees, it can feel overwhelming or unfamiliar—but you are not alone in this experience.
We encourage you, especially during your first few visits, to pause and simply reflect on the sacredness of the celebration. As you grow more accustomed to the rhythm and beauty of the Mass, you'll find it easier to follow along using a Roman Missal.
Below, we've provided helpful resources to guide you as you become more familiar with the Latin Mass. And remember: if you ever feel lost or unsure, don’t hesitate to ask a fellow parishioner. Most are more than happy to help!

Where can I find a proper Latin Mass Missal?

Saint Michaels Chapel's Book store sells Latin Mass missals at no profit. This means you can find books well below market price due to church discounts.
However, if you do want to shop elsewhere,  please note the SSPX uses the 1962 Roman Missal. Earlier missals are generally fine, but they will miss certain details.

Below are several stores where you can purchase Latin Mass missals.
For recommendations, the Angelus Press Daily Missal is widely regarded as an excellent option for the 1962 Missal.
You can also visit Latin Mass Helper, which offers nearly every edition of Latin Mass missals, often at a discount. They also provide a helpful FAQ section for guidance.
